Children's Ministry

The purpose of the Children's ministry at Greeley First Church is to strive to fill the children’s hearts and minds with the word of God so they can live a Godly lifestyle.  This department seeks to create a Christian community that is welcoming to all children and their families and aim to build proper relationships with each other, the church family and the church staff.  The department seeks to show children that God loves them and teach the path of redemption and salvation in hopes of accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior while also understanding the gospel and being able to share it with others.

We do this through the mission of “Lights, Camera, Action." Jesus is the LIGHT, Jesus WATCHES us through our ACTIONS.

The age groups we minister to through our ministry are:

Nursrey: Teacher Janet Ellsworth

Preschool: Teachers Nikki Loos, Kellie Kidwell, Kathy Selanders

Kindergarden & 1st Grade: Teachers Marie Rattle & Dawna Tuma 

2nd-4th Grade: Teacher Nancy Wetrich

5th & 6th Grade: Teahcer Shawna Shinault

Different activities and special events done for and through our children's ministry are:

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Children's Sunday & Sermon in the Sack (Second Sunday of the month)

Neewollah (Halloween alternative, Hosted at our church on or near halloween) This years date is Saturday Oct. 29th, 2011.
